Odaily News In a recent letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson and Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, a bipartisan group of 20 senators proposed an amendment to the 2012 Congressional Knowledge Stop Trading Act to prevent members from trading stocks. U.S. Senator Josh Hawley said at a press conference: Congress should not make money here (the stock market).
