At 18:00 on April 16, 2022, Beijing time, the CertiK security team detected that a fraudster (team) took advantage of the popularity of the NYM project to create a token of the same name as NYM. This fraudulent project resulted in a loss of 12.72 BNB (about 30,000 RMB).
Although the tokens have the same name, the fraudsters deployed fake NYM on BSC, while the real NYM was deployed on Ethereum.
Currently the fake NYM token deployer has created many other unverified tokens and pocketed his money. The deployer took advantage of the attention of the real NYM project to attract victims to buy their counterfeit NYM tokens on BSC, and ran away with the money afterwards.
