Gitcoin is an open source donation project based on Ethereum. As a donation platform, Gitcoin raised early funds for many excellent projects, and these projects also issued airdrops to donating users, such as GTC, ENS, BrightID and so on.
Gitcoin Passport is a Web3 authentication aggregator launched by Gitcoin, which can collect verifiable credentials to prove user identity and trustworthiness while protecting user privacy.
In addition to the upcoming 18th round of Gitcoin donations, we also found that other projects are slowly adopting the Gitcoin Passport score as the verification threshold, such as the recent popular projects such as Cyberconnect, Linea, Taiko, etc., so improving the score has become a top priority.
Since everyones situation is different, the items that can be verified are also different. In addition, the verification rules of some projects have also changed, so we released this Gitcoin Passport ultimate score cheat.
All verification tasks include relatively simple off-chain identity verification, such as Twitter account, Facebook account, etc. We will briefly mention this part of the verification.
In addition, we will introduce and demonstrate operations for slightly more complicated tasks, hoping to help you.
Gitcoin Passport:
https://passport.gitcoin.co/#/dashboard
01 Simple account verification (17.657 points)
Account verification includes Twitter, Google, Discord, Github, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This type of verification is relatively simple, and users only need to prepare these accounts in advance.
Twitter (3.63 points)
Accounts older than 180 days: 1.21 points
Accounts older than 1 year: 1.21 points
Accounts older than 2 years: 1.21 points
Google (2.25 points)
Discord (0.689 points)
Github (7.26 points)
Accounts older than 3 months: 1.21 points
Accounts older than half a year: 1.21 points
Accounts older than one year: 1.21 points
Contributing days for more than 1 month: 1.21 points
Contribution days for more than 2 months: 1.21 points

Facebook (1.378 points)
Account number: 0.689 points
Set avatar: 0.689 points
LinkedIn (2.45 points)
Among them, Github and LinkedIn accounts are relatively difficult to register and easy to seal, so you must pay more attention when verifying.
02 GTC Staking (7.44 points)
$GTC is Gitcoins own token. This task requires users to purchase GTC for pledge. Different types of pledges will have corresponding reward points.
Self GTC Staking is to pledge $GTC to yourself and get points yourself;
Community GTC Staking When others pledge $GTC to you, you get points, but others do not.
The latter gives more points, but it is more difficult, because others will not pledge their tokens to you for no reason, especially under this kind of pledge, others will not get points.
Note that after the tokens are pledged here, there will be a 90-day pledge cycle. After this cycle is over, the pledge can be withdrawn or re-staking. This cycle is from June to September.
But when you get back the tokens, the points generated by the GTC pledge will disappear.
If your GTC tokens are exclusively used to obtain points, it is recommended to choose to re-stake after expiration.
Pledge address:
Self GTC Staking (3.63 points)
5 GTC (Bronze): 1.21 points
20 GTC (Silver): 1.21 points
125 GTC (Gold): 1.21 points
Community GTC Staking (3.81 points)

20 GTC (Silver): 1.27 points
125 GTC (Gold): 1.27 points
03 Gitcoin (21.34 points)
The tasks here are aimed at users who have previously participated in Gitcoin donations. According to the degree of user participation in donation, different degrees of scores are given to users.
For users who have participated in Gitcoin donations, the scores given here are still relatively high, directly exceeding 20 points. But many of them are historical missions and cannot be completed.
At the same time, each address should correspond to a Github. If multiple addresses correspond to the same Github, they will be deduplicated.
In addition, if users want to earn points through Gitcoin donations, they need to do so during the 18th round of donations, from August 15th to August 29th. Donations made outside of this period may be void.
Number of donated projects (5.87 points)
1 piece: 1.57 points
10: 2.3 points

Create at least one project in Eco/Cause round donations 1.18 points
04 ENS (2.45 points)
ENS is a domain name project on Ethereum, and it is relatively easy to obtain this score. As long as the user registers ENS and holds it, they can get it directly.
In addition, after registering ENS, you can also verify the task of another NFT holder, which can achieve one fish and two meals.
The current price of one ENS for one year is about 0.0082 (annual fee + GAS fee).
https://app.ens.domains
05 BrightID (0.689 points)
BrightID is a decentralized identity network that can help project parties confirm that users have only one account, and it is a unique account created by humans.
hsttps://www.brightid.org
To pass BrightID certification, we need to download their app, and after successful registration, go to BrightIDs teleconference.
https://meet.brightid.org/#/
The software used for the meeting is zoom, and there are people verifying it at many times every day. Usually there are fewer meetings in Chinese, and the Chinese of the host is also relatively poor.
After the meeting starts, the host will provide QR codes to all users and ask the participating users one by one.
The video conferencing is to prevent users from re-participating. If you have participated and authenticated with BrightID before, the re-authentication may be discovered.
06 Proof of Humanity (1.21 points)
A real-person authentication system that requires users to submit personal photos and videos, and associate photos and videos with your wallet address.
These photos and videos used for verification will be publicly displayed on the official website. If you are more concerned about this, you can choose to skip the verification.
https://proofofhumanity.id/
After entering the official website, click launch app in the upper right corner, then fill in the relevant information in the submit profile at the top, and submit your photos and videos.
The user needs to read the following passage in English in the video:
I certify that I am a real human and that I am not already registered in this registry
07 ETH (9.16 points)
Gitcoin Passport will also give different scores for the amount of ETH held by users, the number of transactions, and the amount of GAS consumed.
Although ETH gives a lot of points, the cost to pay is not small.
Number of holdings (4.33 points)
More than 1 ETH: 1.79 points
More than 10 ETH: 1.27 points
Over 32 ETH: 1.27 points
Number of transactions (2.43 points)
The first ETH transaction occurred 30 days ago: 1.16 points
Have a trading volume of at least 1 ETH: 1.27 points
GAS consumption (2.4 points)
Gas fee of at least 0.5 ETH spent: 2.4 points
08 Snapshot (4.23 points)
Snapshot is a voting tool. Users vote on project proposals, which is also a manifestation of real users, so there will also be points allocated here.
Voted more than 2 times: 1.41 points
Create a proposal voted at least 1 time by others: 2.82 points
To vote here, you can enter a community and find their proposals to vote for, as long as the proposal has not expired.
https://snapshot.org
Creating proposals scores well and is well worth the effort. Here you need to use a wallet with ENS to create it. If your account does not have ENS, we can set the wallet without ENS as a core member, so that the account can also successfully create proposals.

09 GitPOAP (1.54 points)
GitPOAP is a contributor recognition platform that integrates POAP releases into GitHub. Different from the previous POAP verification, which only needs to be held for 15 days, the new GITPOAP is already a platform that is no longer used, but Gitcoin has given it corresponding scores.
Therefore, users who do not have GITPOAP can no longer pass the verification, and users do not need to waste money to buy POAP.
10 NFT Holder (0.69 points)
You only need 1 NFT in your wallet. If you don’t have an NFT in your wallet, you can go to mint.fun to mint an NFT for free.
https://mint.fun
11 ZkSync (0.8 points)
Users need to have interaction traces on zkSync lite and zkSync era. If your wallet has not used zkSync yet, you can do it.
It is recommended to cross-chain from the main network, and the exchange will directly withdraw to the corresponding chain, which may not be able to complete the verification.
zkSync Lite: 0.4 points
zkSync Era: 0.4 points
12 Lens (2.45 points)
Lens holders can get 2.45 points, which is not low. In the past, because the lens was not open, the price of the lens has remained high. Now that some invitations have been opened, the price of the lens has dropped from more than 200 U to about 30 U.
If you have enough budget, you can also buy a lens directly.
13 Gnosis Safe (2.65 points)
Gnosis safe is a multi-signature asset management platform that has been renamed Safe. As a smart contract wallet running on Ethereum, it requires approval from a minimum number of people for a transaction to occur.
The user needs to be the owner of this multi-signature wallet, or the signing user. Therefore, we need to create a new safe multi-signature wallet.
First open the official website of safe:
https://app.safe.global/
Switch the network to the Ethereum mainnet in the upper right corner, click Create New Account, fill in the relevant information, and confirm the wallet.
We can set our other accounts as signers at the same time, because both the owner and the signer can pass the task verification and obtain points.
14 Coinbase (1.35 points)
Coinbase is a compliant exchange in the United States. Users with Coinbase accounts can complete the verification here and receive 1.35 points.
To register a Coinbase account, you can click Verify directly on the Gitcoin Passport verification interface, and you can register a new account in the pop-up window.
Note that during the registration process, your account may be blocked due to problems with your device and network environment. Make sure your environment is safe and clean.
15 Guild (2.067 points)
https://guild.xyz/explorer
Guild is a cryptocurrency protocol for creating and managing decentralized crypto communities. The platform is designed to help projects interact with the user community, and users can participate in various tasks and earn characters, NFTs and other rewards.
Gitcoin has three conditions for Guild verification.
Join more than 5 Guilds and obtain more than 15 roles: 0.689 points
Guild owner or administrator: 0.689 points
Have at least 1 Gitcoin Passport Guild role: 0.689 points
The first two are not restricted and can be any role in any union. The last one must join Gitcoin Passports own union.
https://guild.xyz/gitcoinpassport
To get the official role of Gitcoin Passport, the following conditions must be met:
Wallet was registered before April 1, 2023
Mainnet holds 0.03 ETH
Gitcoin Passport score exceeds 20 points
16 Hypercerts (0.689 points)
https://hypercerts.org/
Hypercerts is a public welfare certificate invented by Protocol Labs, which can trace and certify someones contribution to something. Gitcoins requirement is to hold at least 2 Hypercerts for more than 15 days.
If you have participated in the Gitcoin alpha and beta rounds of donations before, you can check to see if you have Certs. If you do not have Certs now, you cannot reapply for them.
17 PHI (2.83 points)
https://quest.philand.xyz/
PHI is an identity visualization project on the Polygon chain. The requirements for Gitcoin certification include two:
Silver level 65000 points: 1.67
Gold level 1,500,000 points: 1.16
Obtaining scores is also very simple, you only need to complete the corresponding tasks in PHI. For example, holding ENS can get 1500 points, and an NFT in mirror mint can get 500 points.
18 Holonym (4 points)
https://app.holonym.id/issuance
Holonym is a privacy-protecting passport for Web3, allowing users to authenticate anonymously. The verification method is also relatively simple, currently including mobile phone number and ID card.
The identity documents here can be ID cards, passports, drivers licenses, and mobile phone numbers also support Chinese mobile phone numbers.
The previous verification was free, but recently it has started to charge. Each verification requires 0.005 ETH to generate an SBT on the OP chain and send it to your wallet to prove your identity.
Note that Gitcoins requirement here is to pass at least two verifications for 15 days, so after you complete the Holonym task, there is no way to get points through verification immediately, and you need to wait patiently.
19 Idena (9.9 out of 10)
https://app.idena.io/home
Idena is also an identity authentication system. Unlike the above authentication, it has its own chain and token. Gitcoin has many requirements for Idena, including identity status, token pledge, and identity duration.
The first one can be achieved by completing enough real-person verification tasks, the second one requires staking their tokens, and the third one is how long the identity lasts.
Idenas verification is basically Flip, that is, flip verification. For example, in the picture below, throwing garbage, picking up garbage, picking up Coke, and drinking Coke, the picture on the right has no logical problem, so the picture on the right is chosen here.
In addition to the above test, there is also image-text matching, which will give you a piece of text and the selected picture. If you think the two are related, click approve, or if you think there is no correlation, click report ( Report).
The test includes three modes: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Each task is divided into many small tasks. You need to wait for verification. There is the next verification time in the lower left corner.
As for the pledge of tokens, users need to mine to obtain tokens. The method of mining is to make a picture test like the one above.
20 Civic (5.5 points)
https://getpass.civic.com/
Civic is a digital identity verification platform, and Gitcoin requires three types of verification, which are
CAPTCHAT verification: 1
Uniqueness verification: 2.25
Liveness verification: 2.25
Uniqueness verification requires users to upload a video to prove that they are real.
CAPTCHA verification is relatively simple, users only need to pass the CAPTCHA verification code.
Liveness verification also requires users to upload videos to verify that they are real people.
The above operations are not difficult, but real KYC is required, which may be a difficult part for some users.
21 Summary
Web2 account verification tasks are generally relatively simple, such as accounts such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, which can be registered directly. If you have a large budget, you can try to use an old account. On the one hand, the account will be more stable, and on the other hand, the old account will get more points, such as Twitters two-year old account;
Real-name authentication tasks are more difficult, and there is no way to authenticate immediately. If you are more concerned about personal information, you can give up some;
There are some tasks that require money, but can significantly improve your score. If the cost is within an acceptable range, it is recommended to do it appropriately, such as GTC staking, ENS domain name holding, Lens, etc.
Some interactive tasks on the chain can be operated when the GAS is relatively low, which can save costs. Generally, the lowest GAS is around 2:00 am to 10:00 am Hong Kong time.
