The X interface showed that there were up to 1.2 million people online, and Musk said in Space that more than 60 million people were listening. Space has restrictions on the number of people displayed.
Former President Donald Trump did not mention Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies during a two-hour interview with Platform X CEO Elon Musk on Monday evening, which covered topics including illegal immigration, the economy, artificial intelligence and global warming.

On Polymarket, punters predicted a 65% chance of cryptocurrency being mentioned in the interview, with over $600,000 in bets. The prediction market also added a market asking for the probability of bitcoin being mentioned, which peaked at 69%, with about $330,000 in bets. If the prediction comes true, each share will pay $1 in USDC (stablecoin), otherwise it will pay $0. Polymarket does not list markets that mention other digital assets such as ether, solana, or dogecoin.
Bettors have bet more than $250,000 expecting Trump to mention Tesla with a probability of up to 79%, but Trump avoided the word, only referring to Musks electric car brand as your car. Other words that punters bet on included MAGA, illegal immigrants, and tampons. A user named bama 1234 won more than $1 million in prize money by correctly betting on most of what Trump would or would not say in the interview. The users largest bet was that Trump would not mention crypto, cashing out $336, 918. However, he did not correctly predict that Trump would say MAGA (which Trump said at the beginning) or Trans (which the user thought Trump would say, but ultimately did not).
While crypto has become an election topic, with Trump recently announcing a crypto policy at the BTC 2024 conference in Nashville, it has remained largely unmentioned at mainstream events like the first presidential debate in June.
