Odaily News Nigerias information technology agency, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), is considering plans to develop a domestic blockchain to strengthen national security and protect citizen data. NITDA Director General Kashifu Abdullahi said the blockchain will be named Nigerium and aims to strengthen national security and protect citizen data.
