💙 Aptos Ecosystem
As an emerging Layer 1 public chain, Aptos ideal since its birth has been A Layer 1 for everyone. Born out of Metas Diem and Novi projects, Aptos has received massive financing and industry attention only one year after its launch. Since the launch of the mainnet in October 2022, Aptos is moving towards a new development goal and practicing the technical attributes of exerting strong infrastructure capabilities. At present, data from the Aptos official website shows that it has 200+ projects under development, and a large number of DeFi projects have implemented deployment work, such as Pancake, Thala, Amnis Finance, Merkle Trade, etc.
When Web3 was mired in the shadow of a bear market, Aptos worked hard to find a new technical path for developers. Its mainnet can process 20,000 to 30,000 transactions per second without any lag or congestion. Experiments in a pure execution environment have reached a speed of >170,000 transactions per second, which is several orders of magnitude higher than Ethereums 30 transactions per second. In addition, Aptos uses parallel execution technology to increase transaction speed (throughput) while maintaining extremely low costs. In the context of high throughput and low latency, it adds equity-weighted validator rotation to achieve performance improvement and decentralization goals.
At present, 4-5 projects in the Aptos ecosystem have received seed round financing support from leading foundations, covering wallets, decentralized exchanges and other tracks that the industry pays attention to. Just in February of this year, the Aptos Foundation held the first global hackathon competition, opening a $75,000 prize pool for developers who pay attention to the Aptos ecosystem to conduct project innovation experiments and collaborative exchanges; and last week, data showed that Aptos daily transaction volume reached 116 million transactions and TPS reached more than 2,200...
