DPIN elaborates on strategic vision of global GPU ecosystem at AI+DePIN Mumbai Summit

The DPIN Foundation presented its vision and specific development plans for the next five years to shape the future of decentralized computing power at the AI+DePIN Summit held in Mumbai, India on March 29. The event brought together DPIN, QPIN, community members and senior consultants in the Web3 industry to discuss DPINs strategy to build the worlds leading decentralized GPU computing network, which is driven by the powerful synergy of AI and the Decentralized Infrastructure Network (DePIN).

At the summit, Daniel Schwartz, President of Operations of the DPIN Foundation, gave a comprehensive project overview based on the latest project progress and participated in a roundtable discussion on DPIN 2025 - Shaping the Next Generation of DePIN Architecture and Building a Global GPU Ecosystem. Participants also included Pekka Kelkka, President of DPIN Computing Strategy and Chief Business Officer of QPIN, and Gaurav Saroj, Manager of the Indian Crypto Community.

The vision of decentralized high-performance computing power

DPIN aims to meet the critical needs of fast-growing industries such as AI and cloud gaming by reforming the way high-performance computing power is accessed. The DPIN Foundation is building an efficient, secure and scalable decentralized GPU network. The network leverages the cutting-edge research capabilities of the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) and implements products through technical partner QPIN Labs. The DPIN ecosystem promises to provide high cost-effectiveness and flexibility, allowing users to access the necessary GPU computing power on demand while promoting innovation in decentralized computing technology.

The core of DPINs strategy lies in its integration with the broader Web3 ecosystem. The project will work with the BLC stablecoin ecosystem to achieve efficient AI computing power settlement, ensure transparency and optimize resource utilization. In addition, 4 2D AO Swap also provides DPIN with digital asset transactions and liquidity.

Strategic Roadmap and Important Announcements from Mumbai

The Mumbai Summit was an opportunity for DPIN to announce key strategic initiatives for 2025 and beyond. Pekka announced that DPIN’s GPU computing power testing center in Johor, Malaysia will be officially opened in the third quarter of 2025. This key facility will provide computing power support to QPIN laboratories to accelerate the development of AI and cloud gaming applications. This marks an important step in improving regional computing power infrastructure and promoting technological cooperation in Southeast Asia.

Daniel elaborated on the foundation’s multi-dimensional strategy for 2025:

• Technological advancement: The roadmap includes launching a beta version of the cloud platform in Q3 2025 to provide efficient cloud services. An AI-driven remittance application is planned to be launched in Dubai in Q4 2025, expanding DPIN’s international footprint. Ongoing collaboration with QPIN Labs ensures optimization of computing power.

• Computing capacity expansion: After the launch of the test center in Malaysia, DPIN plans to expand aggressively, aiming to build a computing center with 2,000 GPUs in the third quarter of 2025, and increase to 6,000 GPUs in the first quarter of 2026. The goal is to achieve GPU computing capacity expansion in ten countries in Asia and the Middle East by the end of 2026, and significantly expand in the following years, covering 30 countries by 2028 and deploying more than 15,000 GPUs.

• Community Building: DPIN values community support and will host monthly global meetings to enhance interaction and collaboration. Ongoing initiatives are aimed at significantly increasing the number of DPIN token holding addresses, with the goal of reaching 50,000 by the end of 2025 and growing to 500,000 by 2028.

Targeting high-growth areas: AI and cloud gaming

The summit detailed DPIN’s strategic focus on two fast-growing areas: AI and cloud gaming. As Daniel pointed out, the demand for AI training computing power doubles every few months, far exceeding the expansion rate of traditional hardware, such as Moore’s Law. DPIN’s DePIN architecture is specifically designed to meet this sharply rising demand.

At the same time, the cloud gaming market requires a large amount of GPU resources to support real-time rendering and low-latency experience. Market forecasts mentioned in the roundtable discussion show that the global computing market is expanding rapidly, showing huge business opportunities for DPIN infrastructure. DPIN has demonstrated its success cases in practical applications, especially in optimizing e-sports hotel operations (Malacca E-sports Hotel), which is a key early use case to address high hardware costs, energy consumption and maintenance challenges.

Maintaining the Momentum: Milestones Achieved and Future Innovations

The Mumbai event builds on the significant milestones that DPIN has achieved in the past few months, including the official launch of the DPIN-GPU computing network in Dubai, the launch of the DPIN consensus in Bangkok, the opening of the Malacca eSports Hotel, and the conclusion of strategic partnerships such as CESS.

In future plans, DPIN plans to further expand the ecosystem, including the development and release of a DPIN smartphone in 2025, which will integrate Web3, AI, and cloud gaming capabilities, and will also have a built-in free roaming data plan and a secure MPC wallet and encrypted chat function developed by 4 2D AO.

Reshape and consolidate

During the roundtable discussion, Gaurav pointed out that the rise of projects such as DPIN marks a broader shift in the crypto industry towards decentralized infrastructure. DPIN uses token economics to build and maintain decentralized computing infrastructure to achieve more efficient and collaborative goals. According to Messaris forecast, the DePIN market could reach a market value of $3.5 trillion by 2028. DPIN is strategically located at the intersection of AI and DePIN, enabling it to provide the critical distributed computing power necessary for large-scale AI model training and drive innovation in many industries.

The AI+DePIN Mumbai Summit consolidated DPINs leading position in the DePIN field and outlined a clear path to build a global leading decentralized GPU ecosystem. With a strong technical foundation, strategic partnerships, a clear roadmap and a growing community, DPIN will play a key role in the future of decentralized computing.
