Odaily Xunmei SEC postpones decision on whether to approve Grayscale Spot Ethereum ETF. According to Tuesdays filing, the SEC said it would extend its decision on the proposed fund by 45 days to January 25. The Commission believes it is appropriate to designate a longer period of time to address the proposed rule changes to allow sufficient time to consider the proposed rule changes and the issues raised therein, the SEC said. Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart on X wrote: “As expected, Grayscale’s Ethereum Trust submission has just been delayed. It was originally scheduled for December 6, 2023, so this is completely normal.”
