Last night, the privacy-focused and secure computing network Nillion announced the completion of a new round of financing of US$25 million , led by Hack VC, with participation from Arbitrum, Worldcoin, Sei, and a group of venture capitalists and angel investors. As of now, its total financing has exceeded US$50 million .
Nillion’s backers include venture capital firms such as Hack VC, Distributed Global and Hashkey. Angel investors include KOLs such as Ansem, Arthur Hayes and Meltem Demirors, as well as leaders of projects such as Worldcoin, Injective and Sei.
Nillion completes $25 million in new round of financing, bringing total financing to $50 million
As a community member commented , I remember the first time I saw Nillion was at the end of 2022, during the deep bear market. At that time, BTC had fallen to around $16,000. I saw a news pop-up saying that Nillion had received $20 million in financing. I thought it was not easy for Nillion to get financing in this market and still be willing to build in Web3.
Next, Odaily Planet Daily will take you to understand the basic situation of the highly funded Nillion project and the opportunities for early participation.
Nillion Project Overview
Nillion is committed to building the next generation of Web3 infrastructure through a new cryptographic technology called Nil Message Compute. This technology aims to build a future where high-value data is protected through decentralization and privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) such as secure multi-party computation (MPC) and homomorphic encryption. Nillion is moving towards a world where data privacy can be seamlessly integrated into developer applications.
The biggest highlight of Nillion’s technology is Blind Computation, which allows for the secure processing of sensitive data without revealing its content, thereby creating a new private data application ecosystem across all sectors. The infrastructure provides private data storage and computing for artificial intelligence agents, data markets, private DeFi, healthcare analytics, and more.
Interaction Guide
As early as June this year, Nillion launched its incentive test network (Coordination Layer test network) and started Phase 1: Genesis Sprint, but the test network interaction task has ended. At present, on the one hand, you can leave a message on the official Discord (link: https://discord.gg/nillionnetwork ) for small events held regularly; on the other hand, the interactions you can participate in are divided into: blind calculation staking, verification node.

Blind Computation Staking
Interactive website: https://verifier.nillion.com/
STEP 1. After entering the interactive website, connect the Keplr wallet ( click here to jump to the Google Store download link ) and the MetaMask wallet.
STEP 2. After clicking “Secrets”, add four basic information.
Among them, regarding the method of obtaining the Nillion wallet address, first open the Keplr wallet, click Manage Chain Visibility, add the Nillion test network and find the test network address. The specific operation diagram is as follows:
STEP 3. Click “STAKE ETH” and enter the amount of staked ETH and confirm (minimum stake is 0.05 ETH).
Validator Node
Interactive website: https://verifier.nillion.com/
STEP 1. After entering the interactive website, connect the Keplr wallet ( click here to jump to the Google Store download link ) and the MetaMask wallet, and click Verifier.
STEP 2. Select the corresponding host operating system and follow the prompts (for detailed operation instructions, please refer to the official developer manual document, link: https://docs.nillion.com/quickstart-install ).
Among them, the test coin collection website is: https://faucet.testnet.nillion.com/ . Enter the Nillion test network address according to the prompts and complete the relevant verification to collect it.
Finally, DUNE data shows that there are currently more than 1,100 independent addresses participating in blind computing, with nearly 100 ETH staked; there are 15,287 independent addresses participating in validator nodes, with 1,040.22 ETH staked. It can be seen that participation is still in its early stages and deserves special attention.
