Hackathon Overview
Taipei Blockchain Weeks annual hackathon , Taipei Blockchain Week 2024 - Hackathon, was successfully concluded, with 223 project submissions and 475 developers participating. The event lasted more than a month and was held from December 12 to 14, 2024, through a combination of online and offline registration. The theme of the event, Onboard, focused on advancing the adoption of Web3 technology, highlighting innovations in ecosystems such as Solana, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.
Participants participated in various activities, including workshops and demo days, to showcase their projects and interact with industry experts, founders and venture capitalists. This hybrid format was designed to enhance the quality of projects and provide more networking opportunities.
Organizers reported that 500 select developers participated, with access to detailed bounties and community connections via Discord and Telegram. The Hackathon emphasized its role in establishing Taiwan as a hub for blockchain innovation, in line with the overall goals of Taipei Blockchain Week. It also highlighted Taiwan’s strategic importance, cultural diversity, and technological capabilities, while emphasizing its safety and favorable international conference environment.

Avax Blinks - Simplifies on-chain transactions on Avalanche through shareable links for payments and NFT purchases. The project is built with Next.js, emphasizing mobile-first design and enhancing DeFi interactions on social media.
Ava the Portfolio Managing Agent - Manages DeFi portfolios on Avalanche using AI for strategy optimization. The solution leverages Next.js, TypeScript, and the Avalanche blockchain for full management.

echoX - Decentralized AI-driven trading aggregator that leverages 0Gs Service Marketplace to simplify crypto asset management, focusing on transparency and liquidity aggregation.
DeCentraChat - Provides decentralized AI model inference with secure blockchain storage, developed using Solidity and frameworks like Wagmi and Next.js, providing powerful platform interaction.
SOON Award Winners
Memecoooins - Simplifies crypto investing with a mysterious wallet containing meme coins, integrated with SvelteKit, Solana, and Raydium for secure management and transactions.
BasketFi - Manage token baskets on Solana, enabling seamless swaps and performance tracking, integrated with Jupiter and Solana’s extension capabilities.

Ikkyu - Transforming meme coins through gamified interactions on Solana, leveraging ZKWASM and community engagement to promote cultural movements through mobile events.
Yaminogemu - Use BONK tokens for GameFi and DeFi interactions on Solana, providing secure competition and income opportunities through a serverless architecture.
BNB Chain Award Winners
BNB-Voice - provides blockchain-based invoicing on BNB Chain, integrating Request Network for enhanced transparency, secure invoicing and analytics.
Income Trust - A decentralized trust fund with yield management on Binance Smart Chain, DeFi integration, and secure and flexible withdrawals via OpenZeppelin.
Delphinus Labs Award Winners
zkGuess - Using ZKWasm technology in a number guessing game with an emphasis on Web3 integration and intuitive user interaction in a blockchain environment.
Genopets Award Winners
SolGame - A dungeon game implementing an earn model on Solana, leveraging the Metaplex NFT Marketplace Protocol for decentralized game rewards.

TBW is a major event organizer in the blockchain space in Asia.
