This morning, while the sharp drop in the market attracted almost all the attention of the market, two seemingly ordinary but very strange X account theft incidents occurred.
Meteora and Ben Chow, the former founder of Meteora who resigned due to the LIBRA insider scandal, both posted that the official Meteora X account and Ben Chows personal X account were stolen (Ben Chows theft statement has been deleted). However, according to the screenshots recorded by the community, these two incidents do not seem as simple as they seem.

Cause: Ben Chow’s personal account speaks out
First, at 8:29 this morning, Ben Chow posted a statement on his personal account regarding the MELANIA, LIBRA, and TRUMP incidents.
The article directly pointed out that DefiTuna co-founders Dhirk and Vlad, who had exposed the shady operation of Meteoras platform M 3 M 3, were one of the manipulators behind tokens such as MELANIA . Ben Chow even posted some addresses and chats as evidence, and stated that Dhirk, Vlad and others had taken at least $30 million from these operations.

Progress: Meteora account retweets comment
Shortly after Ben Chow’s personal account spoke out (around 8:42), Meteora’s official account reposted the comment, apologized for the unfair practices in the MELANIA token issuance process, and stated that they still hold 30% of the MELANIA tokens and are ready to dump them.

Turning point: Both deleted tweets
However, Ben Chow and Meteora’s “voices” were only public for a very short time before being quickly deleted. Subsequently, Ben Chow and Meteora both “refuted the rumors” and stated that their accounts had been stolen... So there was the ordinary theft statement this morning.
Doubts abound
Obviously, this incident is suspicious from many aspects.
First, is it more likely that hackers broke into both Ben Chow and Meteora accounts, or is it more likely that Ben Chow, who has left the company, still has access to the Meteora account?
Secondly, assuming that a hacker really stole the accounts of Ben Chow and Meteora, from the perspective of economic benefits, why didnt they just send a phishing link, but instead went through such a long and laborious process?

On the other hand, if the person behind the two accounts was really the now-former Ben Chow, who quickly deleted the tweets and claimed they were stolen, thus controlling public opinion as soon as possible?
Judging from the content of the statement, people have previously regarded DefiTuna, who exposed the inside story of M3M3s operation, as a hero, but how to explain their deep involvement in the chat records? Is it true that they still hold 30% of MELANIA to be smashed?
All these questions were raised with Ben Chow and Meteoras sudden voice, but the opportunity to be answered was lost when their accounts were controlled.
Looking back at the whole incident, Ben Chows statement seems to be filled with a kind of resentment of being used as a scapegoat... What roles did DefiTuna, Kelsier, Meteora and Jupiter behind them play in this messed-up operation? Who is doing evil and who is innocent? Or are they just cooperating in front of and behind the scenes?
