Movemaker, the official community organization of the Aptos Foundation, has officially announced the launch of the Movemaker Grant Program and the launch of a new co-creation space, Aptos Space. This move demonstrates Movemaker’s commitment to promoting the development of the Aptos blockchain ecosystem, especially in the Chinese-speaking region, while accelerating global Web3 innovation.
Backed by millions of dollars in funding and resources from the Aptos Foundation, Movemaker aims to empower developers, support innovative projects, and foster a vibrant community.

Empowering innovation through the Movemaker Grant Program
The Movemaker Grant Program will provide financial, strategic, and technical support to projects built on the Aptos blockchain, with a focus on DeFi, artificial intelligence, payment solutions, stablecoins, and RWA. In the first phase of the grant program, Movemaker has allocated $2 million to support the growth of developers and projects.
The funding program is centered around Building, Community and Support and aims to provide the following support to potential projects:
Financial support: accelerate project development and growth.
Strategic and technical guidance: Provide professional guidance to developers on the Aptos blockchain.
Talent and brand support: Increase project visibility and user usage.
The funding program will focus on supporting builders and projects from the Chinese-speaking region, while also welcoming global teams to join the Aptos ecosystem and jointly develop this market.

Aptos Space: A collaborative hub for builders and innovators
As an additional benefit of the Movemaker Grant Program, funded teams will have the opportunity to collaborate and co-create in Aptos Space, a new offline co-creation space in the heart of Hong Kong. In addition, Aptos Space will also become a venue for Movemaker to hold offline events and builder gatherings, attracting Web3 talents from the Chinese-speaking region and around the world.
Movemaker’s expansion plans for 2025
The core plans for 2025 include:
Ambassador Program: Build a team of “eco-ambassadors” who identify with the Movemaker Web3 vision.
Developer Events: At least two large-scale developer events will be held in 2025, bringing together Web3 talents from the Chinese-speaking region and around the world.
Partnerships: Work with government agencies, media, and community leaders to expand Aptos’ impact within and beyond the blockchain space.
Community interaction: Regularly hold online events and AMAs to keep the Aptos community active and engaged.
