Hong Kong, April 11, 2025 - Bosera Funds (International) Co., Ltd. (Bosera International) and HashKey Capital Limited jointly announced today that the Bosera HashKey Ethereum ETF (Stock Code: 3009.HK/9009.HK, hereinafter referred to as the ETF) jointly launched by the two parties has been officially approved by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (hereinafter referred to as the SFC) and will be allowed to carry out Ethereum staking activities from April 25, 2025 to increase investment returns. This will make the ETF the first virtual asset spot ETF in Asia Pacific to support Ethereum staking. This move not only fills the gap in the market, but also opens up an innovative path for investors to participate in the Ethereum ecosystem.
On April 30, 2024, Bosera International and HashKey Capital issued the first batch of Ethereum ETFs in Asia Pacific in Hong Kong, providing investors with a safe and convenient investment tool to easily hold Ethereum without having to deal with asset storage and security issues on their own. The launch of this product marks a new stage of development for Hong Kongs virtual asset industry. On the first anniversary of the listing of this ETF, Bosera International and HashKey Capital once again led the industry in innovation and were approved to pledge up to 30% of their holdings to obtain Ethereum staking rewards. After deducting relevant service fees, the rewards obtained will be reinvested in the ETF to further promote the compound growth of the product.
